Why Sketch?
Sketching establishes a habit of intensive looking, increases our awareness of the world around us and stimulates creative ideas.
Sketching makes your brain happy. Frontal lobe kicks into action providing reasoning, planning, movement, emotions and problem-solving. It provides a path for creative expression and a way to explore and understand.
The 4, sessions will cover the following and more:
- Materials, tools and techniques.
- Color theory and composition.
- Drawing from the right side of the brain. Drawing and painting exercises.
- Proportions and perspective.
- Observational drawing.
NO EXPERIENCE Needed, just a willingness to explore and enjoy the adventure! $40 per person for all 4 weeks
Supplies needed by participants:
- Sketchbook or paper (watercolor paper or mixed media) drawing pencil, eraser and watercolors
Bring what you already have to the first session. Supplies will be available for experimentation.
